This is a basic recipe, and the amounts depend on how many you will need to serve, and your tastes. Feel free to spruce it up!
Bone broth (beef or chicken/turkey)
Tomato sauce and/or minced tomatoes (1 can or 2 cups)
Desired Vegetables—chopped celery, carrots, peas, potatoes, cauliflower, etc.
Seasonings—salt/pepper, powdered onion and garlic, bay leaf. Optional: few shakes of chili powder, oregano, parsley
Optional—rice or barley
In a skillet, brown the hamburger with the onions and garlic. Place in a pot, along with remaining ingredients. Simmer till veggies are soft. Add seasonings as needed to taste. Add water as needed.
